I was part of a team of therapists employed to treat the ex-professional footballers and celebrities that were to be involved in the charity match. The players I personally treated included Tony Adams, Gianfranco Zola, Carlos Bledorn Verri (Dunga), Jamie Redknapp, David Ginola, Peter Schmeichel, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Paul Gascoigne, Patrick Kielty and David Grey. This was a really unique oppertunity and I am greatful for the experience, thanks Gus!
March 2005 – British Association of Sport and Exercise Science (BASES) Conference.
After completion of my dissertation in my third year at university, I applied for acceptance into the 2005 BASES conference. I was eager to gain experience in presenting to large audiences and to develop my presentation skills. The experience gave me the confidence and skills to present scientific literature in both a complex and basic structure to communicate my ideas and results across all audiences. I was offered future funding to develop my ideas at masters level by several universities.
October 2005 Kings College London: Cadaver dissections
During each of the three years of my degree I was given the opportunity to learn to dissect cadavers. I feel this was unique experience that has enabled me to relate the theory of anatomy and physiology into a visual representation and has enhanced my knowledge and understanding of the human body. In October I was asked by the University of Hertfordshire to over see the first year students first visit to Kings College London.
