Events and Testimonials

Over the years I have been involved in various different events and experiences.  I shall try to keep you up to date with where I have been and what I have done on this page.

June - 2009 Carshalton Althletic F.C

This year I have decided to set up a private practice at Carshalton Althletic F.C.  I'm looking forward to treating private clients here as well as the Carshalton players who have already put me to the test in pre-season.  Take a look at thier new web site by clicking on the link above and see how Francis Vines and the team are getting on.

29th July 2007 – Alan Ball Memorial Cup – Shen Productions, Sky Sports & Guerilla - Click Here to watch the video.

To help raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund and for Cancer Research UK whilst in remembrance of Alan Ball MBE I was involved in a one off football match between an England X1 and a World X1, check out the video.

April 2007 - The Dallas Cup

An amazing experience and one that anyone would enjoy.  This football tournament has been running for over 30 years and attracts clubs from accross the world.  Many of the Premier League and England Internaltional have played for their clubs in this tournament, namley; David Beckham, Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney.  If you want to get involved its open to all in one way or another just check out the link above !

May 2006 – Soccer Aid – UNICEF, ITV & Endemol & Shen productions

UNICEF exists to protect the world’s children whenever and wherever they are at risk. One of UNICEF’s goals is to make sure every child has water that is clean and safe to drink – and the chance to go to school. Click Here to learn more about UNICEF UK

I was part of a team of therapists employed to treat the ex-professional footballers and celebrities that were to be involved in the charity match.  The players I personally treated included Tony Adams, Gianfranco Zola, Carlos Bledorn Verri (Dunga), Jamie Redknapp, David Ginola, Peter Schmeichel, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Paul Gascoigne, Patrick Kielty and David Grey.    This was a really unique oppertunity and I am greatful for the experience, thanks Gus!

March 2005 – British Association of Sport and Exercise Science (BASES) Conference.

After completion of my dissertation in my third year at university, I applied for acceptance into the 2005 BASES conference. I was eager to gain experience in presenting to large audiences and to develop my presentation skills. The experience gave me the confidence and skills to present scientific literature in both a complex and basic structure to communicate my ideas and results across all audiences. I was offered future funding to develop my ideas at masters level by several universities.

October 2005 Kings College London:
Cadaver dissections

During each of the three years of my degree I was given the opportunity to learn to dissect cadavers. I feel this was unique experience that has enabled me to relate the theory of anatomy and physiology into a visual representation and has enhanced my knowledge and understanding of the human body. In October I was asked by the University of Hertfordshire to over see the first year students first visit to Kings College London.
